| Gen3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent , "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! Gen3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head , and you will strike his heel Gen3:16 To the woman he said,"I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." Gen3:17 To Adam he said , "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it, ' " Cursed is the ground because of you ; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. Gen3:18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. Gen3:19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground , since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Gen3:23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. Gen3:24 After he drove them out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Gen6:11 Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. Gen6:12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. Gen6:13 So God said to Noah , "I am going to put an end to all people , for the earth is filled with violence because of them . I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth . Ex20:5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, The Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, Ex20:6 But showing love to a thousand generations of those who love Me an keep My commandments . Ex20:7 You should not misuse the Name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold one guiltless who misuses His Name. Deut4.25 After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time— if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the LORD your God and arousing his anger , Deut4.26 I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed . Deut4.27 The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you. Deut4.28 There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell . Deut4.29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God , you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul . Deut4.30 When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him . Deut4.31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath. Jos23.10 One of you routs a thousand, because the LORD your God fights for you, just as he promised . Jos23.11 So be very careful to love the LORD your God . Jos23.12 “But if you turn away and ally yourselves with the survivors of these nations that remain among you and if you intermarry with them and associate with them , Jos23.13 then you may be sure that the LORD your God will no longer drive out these nations before you. Instead, they will become snares and traps for you , whips on your backs and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land, which the LORD your God has given you. Jos23.14 “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled ; not one has failed. Jos23.15 But just as all the good things the LORD your God has promised you have come to you, so he will bring on you all the evil things he has threatened , until the LORD your God has destroyed you from this good land he has given you. Ps1:1 Blessed are those who do not walk in step with the wicked Ps1:2 but who delight in the law of the LORD and meditate on his law day and night. Ps18:20 The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; Ps18:27 You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. Ps37:28 For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake His faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed ; the offspring of the wicked will perish Ps73:27 Those who are far from you will perish; You destroy all who are unfaithful to You . Ps94.1 The LORD is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. Ps94.2 Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve. Ps95:10 For forty years I was angry with that generation ; I said , 'They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.' Isa13:9 See, the day of the Lord is coming- a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger- to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it Isa13:10 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light Isa13:11 I will punish the world for its evil , the wicked for their sins . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and humble the pride of the ruthless Isa13:13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger . Isa26:5 He humbles those who dwell on high, he lays the lofty city low; Isa50.1 This is what the LORD says: “Where is your mother's certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you ? Because of your sins you were sold ; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away. Isa50.2 When I came , why was there no one ? When I called , why was there no one to answer ? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Eze18:21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. Eze18:22 None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live . Eze18:23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked ? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live ? Eze18:24 “But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does , will they live? Eze18:25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.' Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust ? Eze18:26 If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin , they will die for it ; because of the sin they have committed they will die . Mal4:1 “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the LORD Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. Mt3:10 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire Mt3.12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor , gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Mt5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law , you will certainly not enter the kingdom of Heaven Mt5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder , and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' Mt5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment . Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. And anyone who says , 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell . Mt5.27 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery. ' Mt5.28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Mt5.29 If your right eye causes you to stumble , gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. Mt6:1 Be careful not to do your ‘ acts of righteousness ' in front of others, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in Heaven Mt7:1 "Do not judge , or you too will be judged . Mt7.2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged , and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Mt7:13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction , and many enter through it Mt7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life , and only a few find it. Mt7.21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord ,' will enter the kingdom of heaven , but only those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven. Mt7:26 But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand Mt8.12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Mt10.15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. Mt10.26 "So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known Mt10.28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul . Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell . Mt10.33 But whoever publicly disowns me I will disown before my Father in heaven. Mt10.34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth . I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Mt10.35 For I have come to turn " 'a man against his father,a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— Mt10.36 your enemies will be the members of your own household. ' Mt10.37 "Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me ; anyone who loves a son or daughter more than me i s not worthy of me . Mt10.39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Mt10:41 Whoever welcomes someone known to be a prophet will receive a prophet's reward , and whoever welcomes someone known to be righteous will receive a righteous person's reward Mt11:22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. Mt11:24 But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you." Mt 12:36 But I tell you that people will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken . Mt12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned ." Mt12:41 The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah , and now one greater than Jonah is here. Mt12:42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom , and now one greater than Solomon is here. Mt13:41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil Mt13:47 "Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. Mt13:48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. Mt13:49 This is how it will be at the end of the age . The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous Mt13:50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mt16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels , and then He will reward everyone according to what they have done Mt19:28 Jesus said to them, Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His Glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel Mt19:29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for My sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life Mt22.14 "For many are invited, but few are chosen." Mt23:28 In the same way on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness Mt24.12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, Mt24.51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mt25.19 "After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. Mt25.21 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' Mt25.23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' Mt25.26 "His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Mt25.27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. Mt25.28 " 'Take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. Mt25.29 For those who have will be given more, and they will have an abundance. As for those who do not have, even what they have will be taken from them. Mt25.30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' Mt25.31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. Mt25.32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Mt25.33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Mt25:34 Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come you who are blessed by My Father ; take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world' Mt25.41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Mt25.42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, Mt25.43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' Mt25.44 "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' Mt25.45 "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' Mt25.46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life ." Mk4:24 Consider carefully what you hear, He continued. With the measure you use, it will be measured to you- and even more Mk4:25 Those who have will be given more; as for those who do not have, even what they have will be taken from them Mk3:35 Whoever does God's will is My brother and sister and mother Mk4: 3 "Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. Mk4:4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Mk4:5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. Mk4:6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Mk4:7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Mk4:8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times." Mk4:9 Then Jesus said, "Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear." Mk4:22 For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. Mk4:24 "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Mk4:25 Those who have will be given more; as for those who do not have, even what they have will be taken from them." Mk10:21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Mk10:23 Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “haw hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God ! ” Mk10:24 The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God Mk10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for the rich to enter the kingdom of God Mk12:40 They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely." Mk13:13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but those who stand firm to the end will be saved. Lk1:51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; Lk1:52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones Lk2:35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too Lk3:9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. " Lk3:17 His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire ." Lk6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged . Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned . Forgive, and you will be forgiven . Lk6:49 But those who hear my words and do not put them into practice are like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete." Lk8:17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Lk8:18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Those who have will be given more; as for those who do not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them." Lk10:14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. Lk10:15 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths . Lk10:16 Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me; but whoever rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me Lk11:19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul , by whom do your followers drive them out ? So then, they will be your judges Lk11:31 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom ; and now one greater than Solomon is here. Lk11:32 The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it , for they repented at the preaching of Jonah ; and now one greater than Jonah is here. Lk11:50 Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world, Lk11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all. Lk12:2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. LK12:3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. Lk12:5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed , has authority to throw you into hell . Yes , I tell you, fear him . Lk12:4 I tell you My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more Lk12:5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who , after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell . Yes, I tell you, fear Him Lk12:23 Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes Lk12:31 But seek His Kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well Lk12:32 Do not be afraid little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom Lk12:47 "The servant who knows the master's will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. Lk12:48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded ; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Lk12:49 "I have come to bring fire on the earth , and how I wish it were already kindled! Lk12:57 "Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right? Lk12:51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth ? No, I tell you, but division. Lk13:6 Then he told this parable : " A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard , and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any . Lk13:7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?' Lk13:8 " 'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. Lk13:9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' " Lk13:25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' Lk13:27 "But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me , all you evildoers !' Lk13:28 "There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. Lk14:11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Lk18:14 " I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God . For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted ." Lk18:22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, " You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven . Then come, follow me." Lk18:24 Jesus looked at him and said, " How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God ! Lk18:29 " Truly I tell you," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God Lk19:12 He said : " A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return . Lk19:13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. 'Put this money to work ,' he said , 'until I come back .' Lk19:14 "But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, 'We don't want this man to be our king .' Lk19:15 " He was made king , however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it. Lk19:16 "The first one came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned ten more.' Lk19:17 " 'Well done, my good servant!' his master replied . 'Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.' Lk19:18 "The second came and said, 'Sir, your mina has earned five more.' Lk19:19 "His master answered , 'You take charge of five cities.' Lk19:20 "Then another servant came and said, ' Sir , here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. Lk19:21 I was afraid of you , because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.' Lk19:22 " His master replied, 'I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant ! You knew, did you , that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? Lk19:23 Why then didn't you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?' Lk19:24 "Then he said to those standing by, 'Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.' Lk19:25 " 'Sir,' they said, 'he already has ten!' Lk19:26 " He replied, 'I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away. Lk19:27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them— bring them here and kill them in front of me .' " Lk20:46 "Beware of the teachers of the law . They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. Lk20:47 They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely. " Lk21:22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. Lk21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen , and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man Jn3.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned , but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son . Jn3.19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world , but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Jn3.20 All those who do evil hate the light , and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. Jn3.21 But those who live by the truth come into the light , so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God . Jn5:22 Moreover, The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son Jn5:24 ”Very truly I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life (notes5:24 P1788)(notes5:29) Jn5:27 And He has given him authority to judge because He is the Son of Man Jn5:29 and come out-those who have done what is good will rise to live , and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned ( Notes5:29P1788) Jn5:30 By Myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear , and My judgment is just, for I seek not to please Myself but Him who sent Me Jn6:39 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day (notes1790) Jn6:54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life , and I will raise them up at the last day . Jn7:24 Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly Jn8:26 I have much to say in judgment of you. But He who sent Me is trustworthy , and what I have heard from Him I tell the world Jn8:50 I am not seeking glory for Myself; but there is one who seeks it , and He is the judge Jn9:39 Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind Jn12:31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out Jn12:47 As for those who hear My words but do not keep them, I do not judge them. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world Jn12:48 There is a judge for those who reject Me and do not accept My words, the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day Jn15:1 'I am the true vine, and My Father is the Gardener Jn15:2 He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful Jn15:6 If you do not remain in Me you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. Jn15:7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you Jn15:8 This is to My Father's glory , that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples Jn15:11 I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete Jn15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command Jn15:16 You did not choose Me , but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last - and so that whatever you ask in My name the Father will give you Jn15:7 This is My Command: Love each other Jn16:8 When He comes, He will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment Jn16:11 and about judgment , because the prince of this world now stands condemned Jn18.15 Simon Peter and another disciple were following Jesus. Because this disciple was known to the high priest, he went with Jesus into the high priest's courtyard, Jn18.16 but Peter had to wait outside at the door. The other disciple, who was known to the high priest, came back, spoke to the servant girl on duty there and brought Peter in. Ac 10:42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead Acts17.31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead." Ro1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another . Ro1:25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie , and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen . Ro1:26 Because of this , God gave them over to shameful lusts . Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. Ro1:27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men , and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Ro1:28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind , so that they do what ought not to be done. Ro1.32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Ro2.1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Ro2.2 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth . Ro2.3 So when you, a mere human, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things , do you think you will escape God's judgment ? Ro2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart , you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed. Ro 2:6 God “will repay everyone according to what they have done . ” Ro2:7 to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality , He will give eternal life . Ro2:8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. Ro2:9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil : first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. Ro2:12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law , and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law . Ro 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous . Ro2:16 This will take place on the day when God judges everyone's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares. Ro3.4 Not at all! Let God be true , and every human being a liar. As it is written : "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." Ro3:6 Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? Ro3.18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes." Ro5:17 For if, by the trespasses of the one man, death reigned through that one man , how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ Ro5:16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. Ro6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God , the benefit you reaps leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life Ro6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus Ro6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal bodies so that you obey its evil desires Ro6:13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness Ro7:6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit , and not in the old way of the written code Ro11.22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off . Ro11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out! Ro12.3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Ro13.2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. Ro14.3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted that person. Ro14.4 Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master they stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. Ro14:10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat your brother or sister with contempt? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat . Ro14:12 So then, we will all give an account of ourselves to God Ro14.13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 1Cor 2:15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments 1Cor3:13 Their work will be shown for what it is because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work . 1Cor4.4 My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. 1Cor4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes . He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of people's hearts . At that time each will receive their praise from God . 1Cor5.3 For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this. 1Cor5.12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 1Cor5.13 God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked person from among you." 1Cor6.1 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord's people? 1Cor6.2 Or do you not know that the Lord's people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 1Cor6.3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 1Cor6.5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 1Cor6.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute ? Never! 1Cor6.16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body ? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 1Cor6.18 Flee from sexual immorality . All other sins people commit are outside their bodies, but those who sin sexually sin against their own bodies . 1Cor7.40 In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God. 1Cor9.3 This is my defense to those who sit in judgment on me. 1Cor9.27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1Cor10.8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 1Cor10.9 We should not test Christ, [ w ] as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. 1Cor10.10 And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel. 1Cor10.14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. 1Cor10.29 I am referring to the other person's conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another's conscience? 1Cor11:29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 1Cor11.31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. 1Cor11.32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world. 1Cor11.34 Those who are hungry should eat something at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment. 1Cor14.24 But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, 2Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that everyone may receive what is due them for things done while in the body, whether good or bad . 2Cor10:7 You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ , they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do. Ga6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked . People reap what they sow . Ga6:8 Those who sow to please their sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction ; those who sow to please the Spirit , from the Spirit will reap eternal life . Eph5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient Col 1:12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His people in the kingdom of light Col2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink or with regard to a religious festival, a new moon celebration or a Sabbath day Col3:6 Because of these , the wrath of God is coming Col3.25 Those who do wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism. 1Thes4.6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. 2The1:5 All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you are suffering 2The1:8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus . 2The1:9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 1Tim3.6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 1Tim5.24 The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. 25 In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever. 2Tim2:20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay ; some are for noble purposes and some for disposal of refuse . 2Tim2:21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 2Tim 4:1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus , who will judge the living and the dead , and in view of his appearing and his kingdom , I give you this charge: 2Tim4:8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge , will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. Heb2.2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, Heb4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit , joints and marrow ; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Heb4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account Heb6:10 God is not unjust ; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them Heb6:11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure Heb9.27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, Heb10:19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus Heb10:20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body Heb10:21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, Heb10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Heb10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He Who promised is faithful . Heb10.24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, Heb12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly Heb12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven . You have come to God, the judge of all the spirits of the righteous made perfect Heb12:24 To Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel 1Pet1.17 Since you call on a Father who judges each person's work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. 1Pet4.5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 1Pet4:17 For if it is time for judgment to begin with God's household, and if it begins with us , what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the Gospel of God 1Pet4:18 If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner ? 2Pet3:7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. 2Pet3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. 2Pet3:11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 2Pet3:14 So then dear friends, since you are looking forward to this , make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him Ja2.14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if people claim to have faith but have no deeds? Can such faith save them? Ja2.15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. Ja2.16 If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? Ja2.17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Ja2.18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. Ja2.19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. Ja2.20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[ d ]? Ja2.21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? Ja2.22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. Ja2.23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,"[ e ] and he was called God's friend. Ja2.24 You see that people are justified by what they do and not by faith alone. Ja2.25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 2 Ja2.26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. 1Jn1:6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness , we lie and do not live out the truth . 1Jn4:17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment : In this world we are like Jesus Jude1:15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him." Rev2:14 Rev2.20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. Rev2.23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Rev 3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold or hot , I wish you were either one or the other Rev3:16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot or cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City , Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God Rev21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful , but only those whos names are written in the lamb's boo k of life . Rev3.1 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Rev3.2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Rev3.3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Rev3.8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Rev 3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold or hot , I wish you were either one or the other Rev3:16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot or cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth . Rev3.16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Rev3.17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Rev11.18 The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small—and for destroying those who destroy the earth." Rev14:5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless Rev14.7 He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water." Rev14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” Rev16.7 And I heard the altar respond: "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments." Rev18.4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: " 'Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; Rev18.5 for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes. Rev18.6 Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup. Rev19.2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. Rev19.11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. Rev19.15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. Rev20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned wit Christ a thousand years Rev20.11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it . The earth and the heavens fled from his presence , and there was no place for them. Rev20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened . Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Rev20:13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them , and everyone was judged according to what they had done. Rev20:14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death Rev20:15 All whose names were not found written in the book of life were thrown into the lake of fire Rev.21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immortal, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death Rev21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, no r will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful , but only those whos names are written in the lamb's boo k of life . Rev22:12 Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what they have done (Notes: Jn5:29P1788) Rev22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes , that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city |
